Risktec Solutions Ltd. is an independent and specialist risk management consulting company with majority employee ownership. We assist clients in major hazard industries to manage safety and business risk.
We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic and influential individuals with a strong background in the fire safety engineering, with specific reference to the nuclear industry to join our team in Warrington.
You will have a good understanding of the technical, engineering and managerial issues fundamental to fire safety engineering and assessment for buildings and operations in the major hazards industries. In addition, you will have an interest in business development and have excellent organisational and communication skills with personnel form the shop floor to senior management.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical safety support and advice to clients on fire building regulations, fire protection and detections systems.
• Preparing and managing fire risk assessments for a range of applications from simple premises to complex fire safety engineering design and research projects.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, methods, data and use of appropriate fire modelling software.
• Producing formal technical reports and other project deliverables on time and to budget.
• Managing and developing clients.
• Developing new business.
Required qualifications:
To be considered for this role applicants must have:
• Minimum of degree in science, engineering or related discipline, ideally in Fire Safety Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
• Technical fire safety engineering assessment experience, for example Member of Institution of Fire Engineers.
